Motion Design

The first Motion design was based on making a looping animation based on sound or music, projected onto the square disco floor (4m x 4m) of the Children's Gallery of the National Gallery of Victoria. The Target audience is children. I choose fresh colours and geometric shapes so children can visually understand simple graphics while recognizing colours.

The second dynamic design uses a phrase as a starting point to create dynamic graphics with sounds. The animation should use dynamic types, composition, and colour to convey the reference and the meaning behind it. My phrase is, "I had the epiphany that laughter was light, and light was laughter, and that this was the secret of the universe.” —  Donna Tartt, The Goldfinch
