MODERNISM MAVERICKS PUBLICATION
My main intention with this publication is to give people who are watching it an understanding of modernism in all its different aspects. The modernism movement of the mid-19th century was a total rebellion against traditional aesthetics. Almost all art forms, including novels, paintings, poems, plays, music, dance, architecture, design, and cinema, were completely overturned in this movement. For more than 200 years, the lingering charm of modernism has not disappeared, and the cultural pioneers of that year are still profoundly affecting our cultural life today. I mainly explain modernism from four aspects, including art, furniture, posters, and architecture.
The publication brings together these four very different types of modernism. Publication of three colours I chose are blue, red, and black, because I think these three kinds of colours can be very good on behalf of modernism, red and black are mainly used in the background colour, the background of the publications I mainly used the geometry to match, because I think this is a feature of the modernism, has appeared in different areas of modernism. Blue and part of black are mainly used for the colour of the picture. Blue and red form a strong contrast.
